WELCOME TO THE WELSH ROAD RACE SUPPORTERS CLUB

The Welsh Road Race is the first new road race on the UK mainland since 1953, and really a must for all the true road race fans. The creation of the WRRSC aims to achieve two key objectives: The profit generated by the WRRSC will go to a very worthy cause, an Injured Riders fund. Secondly, being a member of the Supporters Club will give you, the fans, a greater sense of inclusion, we’ll keep you up-to-date with news, rider interviews, arrange fund raising, chat shows, raffles and auctions, and much more. I’m looking forward to you joining me in being part of this exciting new event on the British Motorsport calendar.

My experience working within the motorcycle racing community is extensive, taking in roles within teams such as data analysis and pit boarding, marshalling on the Isle of Man, writing for Motorcycle Racer magazine, and most significantly, five years service with the North Yorkshire Road Racing Supporters Club (NYRRSC). In my role as Vice-Chairman I was involved in arranging fund raising ‘Chat Shows’ with racers across all paddocks including Road Racers, MotoGP, WSBK, BSB and many more interesting guests connected with motorcycle racing.

Profit generated form the Supporters Club will go towards an Injured Rider fund and essential safety equipment. I’m sure you’ll agree that... ‘any contribution we can make towards safety measures and helping injured riders’… is a good thing and another example of the generosity of our racing community and how we stick together. I sincerely hope you enjoy yourselves attending the Welsh Road Race.”
